To show my dependance on the all powerful google I decided not to pick up the pretty spider like I wanted to because I wasn't sure how much trouble I would be in if she bit me without first consulting dear google.
Yes, google let me know they bite. It'd feel like a bee sting. Unless I was allergic. Can you get tested for tarantula allergies like you would an egg or pollen allergy? That box isn't provided on most forms where you're asked to check all known allergies. Aprin - no, eggs - no, tarantulas... maybe?
So I let the spider alone and we went our separate ways. This is a favorite spot of mine on the BST trail with a great vantage point of the city.
My breakfast yesterday.
{yes, I think I'll be one of those people who takes pictures of recipes I try and post about them.}
The short stack. Mini cinnamon spelt pancakes with blueberries and applesauce/agave syrup.
I got the recipe here though I didn't add the maca or protein powder, instead opting for a heaping teaspoon of ground flax seed and a bit more cinnamon. I also tried them with pears and it was a perfect blend of harvest time flavors.
More and more grapes. Do you live near me? Do you want some because I have heaps and heaps growing in my back yard.
Pretty photo of you, Jenna. I like that you're in one of your images. And your pancakes look AMAZING!!
ReplyDeleteI might have to try that recipe myself, although I doubt I could find blueberries that huge and juicy.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe that you even ate ONE of those pancakes. Perhaps just the blueberry on top! Your arms are cut girlfriend! LOVE that picture of YOU!
ReplyDeleteYes, that it what I want to see on YOUR blog...YOU!!!!
You are quite the Marco Polo in the kitchen. Impressive cooking and impressive gardening. I want you to come live at my house.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the pancake recipe. Believe I'll give it a try this weekend.
ReplyDeleteah! tarantula! i went hiking in the east bay of san francisco once {at a place called mt. diablo, of all places}, where we came upon swarms of wild tarantulas. growing up out east, i had NO idea they were native to the western terrain. that was quite the trip. :) and i so wish i lived near you! i would definitely help you out with those grapes.
