spontaneous patriotism and kindness

nothing like a little spontaneous patriotism to make me proud to be an American. Or really, just proud to be a human.  Who knows why this guy decided to go for a run down the street at the Gateway with a huge flag.  He was getting cheered as he ran so maybe it's his workout incentive plan?

when I pulled back into the parking lot at work yesterday I saw some gloves on the fence and I thought 'how nice, someone will be happy.'  Then I noticed they were my gloves.  I'm that happy someone.
