rustic meets eclectic

after my last post it is fitting that I would have the pleasure of working with someone who doesn't make me second guess myself. It might have something to do with the fact that we have very similar tastes, but as she said, I'm more comfortable with taking it to the next level and she feels safer taking my lead. {sigh of relief, finally someone who gets it that they have paid a professional for an opinion, not a sparring partner} The goal: make her Park City furniture work in her new traditional home. The twist I love: She loves contemporary and bold color and wants a home that doesn't blend in with the norm.

She wore her jacket with a purpose today saying it was the color she wanted her chairs to be, but with a pattern or texture. We found both in this funky cool fabric by Sam Moore and sleek arm chair for it to go on.

I'll be sure to post a photo of the completed room in a few weeks.

  1. She's a smart lady to trust in your intuition and talent. Looking forward to seeing a photo of the final results. Have fun.
